deja vu, sort of

So when Mike and I were first married one of the things we disagreed on was 90210. He basically thought it was trash.
I thought it was harmless.

Well tonight, the new version of 90210 is on.
I think it's trash.
Daughter (to be nameless) thinks it's harmless.

He was right, it just took me a long time to figure it out.

Man, I can't wait until LOST starts up again....

Lost wooooo! I think the Island was moved to Springfield, where the Simpsons live.

I used to watch 90210 while doing my Engineering homework. I termed it a "low viewer commitment" show, which allowed the important parts of my brain to work while the rest vegged out. (Seinfeld and the Simpsons were also tapped for this reason.) Unfortunately, I found myself actually interested in the story after a time, and then got hooked on Party of Five, too. The mistakes of youth...

BTW, thanks for losing the playlist thingy. It's nice to be able to hear only what I'm listening to voluntarily.

That's what difficult about TV. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Well, maybe it IS more black and white than that. I know ME. I will want to watch 90210. I shouldn't watch 90210.
